Snapchatās AI chatbot is now free for all global users
Snapchat is now opening its AI chatbot for the global audience. The chatbot is powered by OpenAIās GPT models and was initially launched as part of the paid subscription plan on Snapchat.
The social media company is working continuously to improve the chatbot beyond the ability to add My AI to group chats, get recommendations for places on Snap Map and Lenses, share Snaps with My AI and receive chat replies.
The company says that the AI will soon be able to respond with unique āgenerativeā Snaps back.
Elon Muskās New AI Startup
After a little cold war with OpenAI, a company he himself co-founded, and unfollowing Sam Altman on Twitter, Elon Musk has announced that heās building a new AI startup, X.AI.
"I'm going to start something which I call 'TruthGPT' or a maximum truth-seeking AI that tries to understand the nature of the universe," he said to a reporter.
The goal is to build an AI model that actually understands the nature of the universe and isnāt interested to kill humans since weāre an interesting part of the universe. The premise is based on humans' desire to protect chimpanzees. When we could easily "hunt down" and "kill them," we rather protect them and give them a safe habitat and are just glad that they exist.
OpenAI Invests $23.5M in 1X, a human-like robot startup
1X is a Norway-based robot startup that produces human-like robots.
The reason this is so important is that OpenAI is arguably the most innovative AI company in the world which has restricted its focus to software only. However, with this investment, they are now ready to go beyond that. We may soon see a humanoid robot from 1X that has the capabilities of OpenAIās GPT models in it.
This also puts OpenAI in direct competition with Elon Muskās Tesla and the recently unveiled Tesla bot.
AI + Humans = ?Using ChatGPT to Manage 4-5 Jobs
As technology continues to advance, more and more people are discovering the incredible benefits of AI tools such as ChatGPT in their professional lives. It's becoming increasingly common for individuals to manage multiple jobs simultaneously, and AI tools are making it possible.
This shift in the workforce isn't about replacing humans, but rather giving them the ability to handle more work than was previously possible.
